I CAN'T WALK.
Woke up on Wednesday only to find myself unable to walk. Stinging pain on my right knee whenever i try to lift my leg up. Missed school for that day and went down to see the chinese physician. The walk to the clinic was really torturing cause the pain keeps getting more and more intense.

The physician pushed the injury and did acupuncture. Poking in the needles weren't so painful, in fact i dont really feel anything.
Then she did the cup suction treatment. This time its really painful when my skin got sucked. And the worst has yet to come. After cupping, she used this really sharp hammer-like tool and literally hammered my knees to make it bleed. So pain then i kept banging the wall. Afterwards she just left my knee under the heater for like 30mins. Then another patient comes in and he just kept screaming and screaming which entertained me for the whole duration. HAHAHAHA.

A day later and my knee still feels as pain as before. Its like the visit to the physician didn't help. Skipped school and did self-study. Really productive this time. Qien came over to my house to study. Got sick of fast food after McDelivery and Pastamania delivery for the past 2 days. So we decided to have chinese food this time. Yumzzz. I thought Golden Pillow is up there with the ranks of the pricey abalones and shark fins. Turn out to be just average-priced. ahahaha

1 week into the new school term and i've attended only a day. Best thing of this injury? I don't freaking know how i got it.

School is becoming sooo dreadful. We're like doing mock papers every single period, and the humidity of the weather just have to top it off. Makes me wonder if i should apply for the study leave or not. I really want to stop schooling and just stay at home and do some self-study, but there are just some things that i cant let go off yet. Erm... some unfinished business? I hate it that i am so indecisive regarding crucial matters. Neither this nor that. ZHEN DE GOU LE LOR. Time's like a ninja!!

There are really weird people living near me. I was down at the gym just now and the auntie who always chats with me was in there too.

I was warming up and she came up to me...

Woman : Hi! where did you go just now? i saw you going up and then coming down.
Me : I just caught a movie so i went home to change and came down.
Woman : Oh haha.. what movie?
Me: Erm, Where Got Ghost.
Woman : Was it nice?
Me: pretty good, at least the tickets are cheap

Seriously at this time im just interested in completing my workout but i still decided to continue chatting with her

Woman : But why you never wave to me? i waved to you when you were walking up and another time when you came down and walked past me.
Me : You did? sorry i didnt notice.i wasn't looking into the gym
Woman : Yes, i twisted at you twice! you never see meh?? i kept waving at you

And suddenly she just snapped

Woman : Why are you so rude?! i've never seen anyone more rude than you.
Me : Erm auntie... why like that? I've already said i didnt look in here
Woman : I will never acknowledge your presence again, and when next time you want to smile at me, i will ignore you.
Me : All along it was you who initiated the acknowledging , i cannot care less.

and then she started to mumble and i could only make out the word "authority" from her sentences. I dont see why that word can be brought up within our conversation. freaking funny really. so when i ignored her she just said "BYEBYE SMALL BOY BOY, OPEN YOUR EYES BIG NEXT TIME" and left the gym.

To think she called me a small boy boy. ok thanks lor, wo hen cute. I was smiling to myself when she left and i kept thinking about her words. I've been wrongly accused a few times but this is the only time i find it to be funny rather than annoying. I swear i was oblivious to whatever she was doing at me when i was walking up, and considering the refraction of the glass windows, i dont think i could have been able to see her.

Haha but auntie, i hope to see you soon, cant wait to see your face again.

5 things to say at 9.30pm

1. I'm having dizzy spells these few days. no idea why though but thanks to those who showed concern for me. AWW. and also i get tired really easily, leading to the the inability to enjoy what i'm doing, which is really depressing. sucks to be me this time.

2. Watching tennis is a great way to pass time. Don't know why people feel surprised that i'm following tennis,soccer and basketball very closely. US open is currently on the heat, my favourites? Sharapova, Djokovic, Del Potro, Roddick and Verdasco.

3. My birthday's over 3 days ago and i'm still receiving belated birthday wishes. Don't you think its so sweet? Haha. Talking about birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY POH HAN YIN!!!!!!! 祝你快高长大(lol)

4. I'm still not feeling something that has been massacring the graduating pupils, the exams-induced stress!! I'm more concerned about the courses than the results itself. Set my sights on a course in SP already. Not maritime-related and COP is 12. Must get myself into full-throttle mode for preparing for the papers.

This is gonna be a thank you post. Really have to thank those who bothered to wish me on twitter/facebook/livejournal/sms/msn/face2face. Also thanks to those who got me presents and cards. Didn't expect that many people to remember, especially when i havent been catching up with many people. i know im quite unhappening, no hardcore 16 birthday party to celebrate and had a speech to deliver. The present from the Fam was something that i'd been closetedly wanting.

Well im 16 now, i have to be more mature and stop fooling around like how a few of my friends have reminded me in their wishes. Watch NC16 and also legal for sex hahaha, what friends huh.

and thanks Qien for recommending that lousy steamboat place hahaha. And to the gang that wanted to have a birthday dinner with me, sorry that i couldn't celebrate it with you guys. Really appreciate it though.

28th august was spent at Carousel@Royal Plaza hotel. Well, its a day of surprises, and wow i managed to make Qien cry. Too touched really. Not gonna say much, just gotta say its a day when i thought to myself, "Nothing's gonna be better than this".

Is the $85 per person dinner worth it? The service, seafood and ambience certainly made it all worth the money.

A year gone, embark on a new one.

This week is just so predictable. Getting back results and feeling a little disappointed, rotting during the many free periods and going for night study. Gotta say that im at a loss for words over my results. Probably going to get the same L1R4 as mid-year despite putting in much more effort. Well, this just shows that hard work alone isn't enough. And its ironic how the O's approaching but the number of free periods i'm having is increasing, so much that i have totally no idea how to spend it. And it sucks that im gonna have another 3 free periods tomorrow.

Just had the SL Investiture today and it was nerve-wrecking! Its the first time i'm using a microphone to speak(you just have to believe this) and it had to be infront of more than 400 people. It ended really soon and actually it wasn't as scary as i'd thought. Felt pretty routine going about it. Not gonna say the same for next week, upper secs are scarier.

On the other hand, im starting to accept Biology. Hello Kok Khiang.

Went over to Seoul Garden after Qien's training. Long time since we'd last ate it, this time we went to the one at Taka. The food variety that day wasn't very wide. Felt really grumpy because out of six ice-cream flavors available, none are chocolate. Freaking angry!! But the good thing is that it has a really good air-sucker(whatever you call that).So both of us managed to leave the place without smelling BBQ-ey, which is really relieving. I got sick of eating so much meat that im not gonna eat it today.

Im feeling really lazy to do anything today yoohoo i shall stop here hahahahaha.

Chemistry's been the death of me. Now i ponder why did i even pick my current combination. 2 maths 2 sciences. LIKE WHAT? Im not even good at those. Count myself lucky, i scored 52% for chemistry.

Extremely good mood today for no reason and i caught The Proposal with Qien after her training. So goood, its even better than UP! I think i have a thang for mature women really. Sandra Bullock is yumz hahahaha. Thank god i decided to book online because the seats are all almost taken up. The people seated around us have pretty cute laughters we can't stop looking at them. Who the hell laughs like "kwek kwek kwek" . You say cute or not?

Went over to Swensens for ice-cream most importantly, calamari rings!! The rings are the best comfort food ever. And coincidentally, the guy sitting beside us is my primary school friend. Felt pretty awkward and we didn't even acknowledge each other. To think i thought im friendly enough. But wow, he now has piercings all over and a little Tats here and there. What ever happened to that small little innocent boy i knew man. HAHA.

Guess what, i still have to go to school on a Saturday. How long ago was it when i return to school on a Saturday? 5 months ago?

Just had the most torturous night ever. Woke up from my sleep feeling itchy over at my kneecap. Then another spot at my ankle, then one by one mosquito bites appeared all over my body. DAMN SCARY. Cant freaking locate the mozzie and the itch is freaking killing me. Applied some cream and i counted a total of 12 spots. Haha you tell me shiok or not? Felt so insecure and i slept in the living room. Finally fell asleep after a few hours and yoohoo, a total of only 3 hours of sleep.

Woke up fresh which kind of puzzled me, why do i not feel tired everytime i get such minimal sleep? So today's a pretty important day. EL O's Oral, MT O's results, Chemistry paper 1 and EL Paper 2. EL oral was pretty manageable and it was a little fun. HAHA. Well, got a B3 for MT O's. Expected this result but still felt disappointed. Felt better knowing that only 12% got an A. What a dip from previous years huh? Made up my mind to retake the papers despite the tough challenge.

it sucks that my lj has to be filled with updates about my prelims but no choice, i screwed all the papers except for humans. and it sucks when two of your best subjects are combined and counted as one.

highlight of the previous week was watching Arsenal rout Everton 6-1. soccer season is back and woo im getting all excited. yes my life is so banal right now that soccer has to be the best thing that happened.

I actually went for some jogging just now because i felt like i needed to perspire after a long hiatus from volleyball. i freaking dislike long-distance running because the feeling of being out of breath is so unbearable. anyhow i managed to survive through and it felt good perspiring buckets. LazeyHazey told me yesterday night that she heard my voice on FM98.7. Qien & I recorded some stuffs for the singtel youth plan and it was aired on the radio. cool huh. so i was listening to 98.7 and i really heard myself. felt really weird but it left a smile on my face. oh talking about Smile, my current obsession is Lily Allen(she has a song titled Smile)! I spent 3 hours today just watching her videos on youtube earlier in the morning. wasn't that into her until i saw her performing at some concert on MTV 2 days ago.

Went to moontan again with Qien and i realized im freaking deprived of sleep!! I slept only a total of 4+3+4=11 hours for the past 3 days. Amazing thing is that i don't feel a tad tired. Im still gonna sleep early today, a friday night argh. But the bad thing is i can never wake up later than 9.30am. Not joking but the latest i've slept until was only 9.30am. Sad huh?!

freaking tired of getting knowledge from books. serves me right for not paying attention during lessons. its pay-back time kuakua... most probably gonna fail biology, to think i even aimed for a B3. so depressing huh. just have this peculiar feeling of cooping myself up at home the whole day, but now i can't because someone's bent on meeting me for dinner. tell me how?

And a special appearance by

Spent my Nation'09 at the Marina Barrage with Qien. There was so many people and we made a few friends with our neighbouring people. Oh and both of us forgot to bring a picnic mat. We had to resort to using JCO Donuts' plastic bag as our mat. Losers haha. We were expecting to meet a few friends there but it was just too crowded to spot anyone. Then suddenly this little boy came over fascinated our cameras and he just pounced on my back as if we're good ol' friends. I suppose i'm really attractive because he didn't wanna leave me. aha

The fireworks finally appeared butwe'd a really minimal view. The IR buildings were blocking the works so it wasn't very nice. The mad rush to exit after the fireworks stopped was really...mad!! The queue for the shuttle bus was so long we can only walk there. And while walking we could only say "final turn alr!!" and still end up with a long route ahead. 50minutes walk to the MRT and my whole body was drenched and sticky. Disgusting.

Took the train back and luckily there wasn't much people. But you know this china man beside us kept blasting his songs that were really cute. You know, like the cutesy cutesy Cyndi Wang songs. Funny stuffs.

And i guess now is the time for revision. Prelim starts tomorrow and we'll be getting our MT O's results. argh.

School's national day celebration at West Coast Park was pretty fun, except for the fact that it isn't really bonding session for the class. Everyone's scattered all over so... where's that little bonding? Had my first kiting experience and it is really easy to fly a kite. But Hanyin had to come and entangle his kite with mine, which can never be untangled, and that concludes my virgin kite-flying memorably. Aha. Oh we had a little celebration for Phillip Low Siaoyin. Hope you enjoyed your birthday ah Phillip!

Went home to take a shower first and the bus ride home was embarrassing. I was paying my ride by coins and when i tried to take out my coins, my house key dropped out and fell into the coin-collector. I said "damn it, my key dropped in" to Qien very loudly and the whole bus was looking at me. AHAHA. And the thing was that my teacher was in the same bus and she couldn't stop laughing. The bus-captain said that the key can never be retrieved which i think is a load of bullshit, if not how they earn the money from coins? Luckily i have a spare key at home.

Went over to Changi Airport and had the worst tau-suan i've ever tasted. Then to Bugis for JCO Donuts and had a lot of fun in there. Qien took many videos of me talking to people and it was funny man. Maybe i shall upload up here one day huh.

This Destiny's Child song is damn hot!! I still remember how this song used to be a must-listen song in primary school and if you dont listen to it, you're uncool. ok i actually uploaded this decade-old song into my phone already. Old is gold huh?
The other day when Qien and I were moontanning, we actually found out that my phone keeps track of the most played song. Didn't know of such function in my phone before.

Just got home from my virgin night study. It was fun and productive at the same time, at least i got myself in a study mode. Had my first Mac's meal after 5 months and it was sinful. Took my first bite of McSpicy and the oil freaking splattered all over the place and my finger got burnt. Next mac's meal? not so soon.

The world's so unfair. I swear i eat the most sinful food and have unhealthy late night snacks but why do i not gain any weight?! My heaviest weight recorded was 56.9 which was a week ago and now i'm back to 54kg. Ridiculous. I've not been exercising much and the only exercise i've been doing is weight-lifting. im bewildered at how im losing weight instead of gaining. I don't even starve myself and i eat at the speed of light. now what? starve myself to gain weight? life's so cumpreekayting, its killing me.

One helluva tiring day. Went over to Orchard to get a new pair of havaianas with Qien. My green one spoilt and the black one is just freaking boring, so i decided to get a red one today. Afterwards wenta shop shop alittle then headed for dinner. Walked down the stretch from ION to Dhoby Ghaut to look for food but we found nothing that was appealing. And out of the sudden i recalled the Fish&Co. glass house. Dined there and it was ommmm! Dining has never been better with live bands, plasma tvs and calamari rings!! Atmosphere was so great, except for the fact that we have to shout across just to converse. funny stuffs and we couldn't stop shivering cause the aircon is directly facing us. Was a really short day cause we met up late but we've had so much fun, man. Im gonna stay home on National day to catch the premiere of Singapore Idol. Nah, just kidding!

freaking hell, you can never imagine how much i hate chemistry. looking through the notes and memorizing doesn't help much because its all about understanding and application. i cannot get concepts easily and its killing me. why can't we take pure biology and pure physics only huh? oh i know... because there's no chemistry between them. wtf ok -_-

i'll be sorta free during the weekends but not free because i have to revise for prelims which is 1 week away. and from what i've heard, we won't be getting back our MT O's results before national day. another thing to worry about. there is so much to do that i'm not doing anything. can't wait for exams to be over and i'll.... what?

after lunch i realized that having a simple chat is also sweet. no need for fanciful gifts, no need for expensive clothings, just sitting down over a table chatting our hearts out is a wonderful thing to do. i should've known. spent 4 hours in the restaurant talking and enjoying the good food. nothing's better than this.

im still having a flu so i missed school today. no queue at all at the doctor's, damn shiok pls. i even planned to wake up at 7am today, use the com a lil' and then revise geog. obviously plan failed. wasted my morning away by watching youtube videos. gonna be back in school tomorrow i hope i don't disturb the others by sneezing too much. do you want to know how thick my phlegm is?

if this is what i get for being honest, i swear honesty is never the best policy. pissed
